Hanif Sheikh's a multitasking musician
The Music of Paathshaala seems to be having the right impact on the audiences. What with songs like `Aye Khuda` and `Bekarar` from the movie’s album becoming popular hits already.
So Hanif Sheikh who has debuted as music director for the movie has ample reasons to rejoice. But it seems the music is not the only contribution Hanif has made to Paathshaala.
The composer displayed his multi talented persona when he not only composed the music but also penned down the lyrics for the film along with a small cameo for the same. But that is not all. It seems Hanif was there not only for the music but also during the conceptualization of the film and has even made his contribution to the dialogues of the movie.
When asked about the music of Paathshaala Hanif replied, “I was there since day one of the movie. I was there when the movie was being conceptualized and when the dialogues were being written. So I was familiar with the concept of the movie and knew the story in and out. So the music came to me during the making of the movie itself. It was not like I had to sit specially for composing the songs, they just came to me gradually during the movie making process.”
Hanif has sung ‘Yeh Dooriyan’ for Ahmed Khan’s directorial debut and was the man behind the sensational hit ‘Aye Hip Hopper’ from the album Dakku Daddy sung by Ishq Bector. And since he has impressed us already with his multi faceted persona we hope to hear more from the talented music man.
