Sunny Leone: I’m not ashamed of my past!
Sunny Leone: I’m not ashamed of my past!
As a top-rated pornstar in the US, Sunny Leone had perhaps never imagined she could have “moved” to Bollywood as “easily” as she did. But she is glad that the industry is “accepting” her while she tries to “fully crack the code”. Excerpts from the interview
A lot has happened to your career in Bollywood since we last spoke. How do you feel about the changes in your life and career?
This has been the most amazing transition that I could hope for. Being accepted and liked in another country is not something that happens all the time.
How accepting has Bollywood been of you? Do you feel completely at home here?
Bollywood has been very accepting. I know there are people out there who don’t like me but there are more people liking me, so it doesn’t bother me. I am very lucky that when I entered Bollywood, I was coming with a fan-following already. And the Bigg Boss 5 show helped everyone else get to know me as a person. Moving to India from Hollywood was one of the easiest moves I have ever made. Effortless really.

How much of the Indian film industry have you so far come to terms with?
I’m not sure I fully understand this question. But I grew up in a typical Punjabi home and watched Hindi movies during my childhood. I understand Hindi and Punjabi and the Indian film industry is like every entertainment industry across the world. It all functions the same just in a different language. I have moved my whole world here and love this industry of Bollywood.

Do you feel it’s hard for an outsider like you to crack the Bollywood code?
I work very hard and around the clock trying my hardest to learn everything that Bollywood is. I’m not even sure if I have fully cracked the ‘code’, but I’ve begun the process hopefully. It all depends on how my second, third and fourth movie do. In all reality, I have only made one movie that has been released to the world. It all depends on how the world accepts me in those movies to come.

Your next project is Ekta Kapoor’s Ragini MMS 2? How comfortable are you in the horror genre?
Honestly, I loved working on Ragini MMS 2. There is a lot of performance in this movie and a huge range of emotions and, of course, horror. I don’t mind the idea of not looking pretty in every shot. To me, this is my way of getting out of who I am and becoming someone completely different for the day.

Are you now a full-on Mumbai girl? Have your husband and you settled down in Mumbai?
I feel very comfortable living here and it’s been the easiest move for he and I. We’re very much settled and know the ins and out of Mumbai. I think the day I felt totally comfortable was when I started giving my driver directions.

Have you left your days as an adult star behind? How do you look back on that experience?
If it wasn’t for my past, I would not be who I am. I am not ashamed of it because it has brought me here to India. If I came here as a regular me with no entertainment experience, then I would not be as popular as I am today with the public.

How do you react to a director like Anees Bazmee saying he wouldn’t want to work with you as he has a family audience to consider?
I have no idea what this is all about. But I am very lucky that there are plenty of people that want to work with me.

Is it true your husband Daniel Weber is also seeking a career in Bollywood?

A statement from the actor confirms: ‘Sussanne has decided to separate from me and end our 17 year relationship. This is a very trying time for the entire family and I request the media and the people to grant us our privacy at this time. ‘I do not wish this news to disempower my fans and the people about the institution of marriage in any way. I am a firm believer in this institution and respect and honour it at the highest level… And once again, I thank my fans for all the concern and prayers for my health, my treatment is going well and I should be able to resume my life in every way very soon. Katrina Kaif’s SHOCKING REACTION on her BIKINI photos
Katrina Kaif’s SHOCKING REACTION on her BIKINI photos
Katrina Kaif just cannot run away from questions on her bikini pictures. The actor was finally facing the media that has waited long enough to finally hear Kat’s comment on her Spain holiday with beau Ranbir Kapoor.Kat was evidently upset after the episode, so much that she had written an open letter to her media friends. The Chikni Chameli was also accused of leaking the bikini pictures by certain section of the media who felt that she was insecure about stories doing rounds of Ranboo and Deepika getting cozy in a cinema hall after Yeh Jawaani Hai Dewaani success. Katrina however addressed the bikini issue in a light manner. The actor said at the Dhoom machale dhoom song launch, “Next time when you all plan to take pictures give me a notice. Red doesn’t look good with white (regarding the colour of her bikini)… I will wear matching next.”
Like Katrina, even Ranbir had reacted coolly when quizzed about Kat’s bikini pictures, “Picture mein Katrina Kaif bahut sundar lag rahi hai, aur Ibiza bhi bahut hi sundar jagah hai pls jaaker aap visit kijiyega“(Katrina looked very beautiful in a bikini and the beach in Ibiza id beautiful too, I recommend that you visit it too).
With the bikini question finally answered by Kat, we’re sure all the hype around her mismatched two-piece will die down. We hope that the couple who is painting the town red with their lovey-dovey outings will soon have more glamourous pictures to talk about. Do we hear Kat’s buying a barbie pink swimming costume??? Wink, Wink

My mom, wife and sister are my superwomen- Hrithik Roshan
Actor Hrithik Roshan, who donned the superhero avatar in the Krrish franchise, doesn't need a superwoman in real life.
"I don't think I need a superwoman in real life because I have my mother (Pinky), wife (Sussanne) and sister (Sunaina). They are my superwomen and I'm glad to have them in my life. They hold a very special place and I don't want anyone else to replace it," Hrithik told reporters.
He was speaking at the meet-and-greet event organized to celebrate the success of Krrish 3, which has reportedly minted over Rs.200 crore worldwide.
When asked how it makes him feel to play a superhero, he said, "Being a superhero is like playing any one of us because we all have it inside us. It has been a great journey for me and I learnt a lot by playing the character."
"I have learnt about several values a superhero posses and his service to the world. Even if we have five percent of those values, we can make the world a nicer place to live," he added.
Rakesh Roshan-directed and produced Krrish 3, which also features Kangana Ranaut, Priyanka Chopra and Vivek Oberoi in important roles, has done exceptionally well in Tamil Nadu as well.
Debutant directors lucky for Imran Khan
Debutant directors lucky for Imran Khan
Actor Imran Khan, who is going through a rough patch in his career, says his only success has come from first time directors.
"The funny thing in my life is that my only success is with the first time director. Anytime I have gone away from the first time directors, things have not worked for me," Imran started his career with Abbas Tyrewala's directorial debut Jaane Tu... Ya Jaane Na, a hit at the box office.
"Logically, if I think about Kidnap, the director (Sanjay Gadhvi) had given a blockbuster like Dhoom, but it didn't work for me. My understanding is that I should work with guys of my age," added the 30-year-old.
Imran teamed up with expereicned directors like Vishal Bharadwaj for Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola and Milan Luthria for Once Upon A Time In Mumbai Dobaara, but both the films bombed at the box office.
"Obviously it's very disappointing because so many people had worked so hard on it and you want people to like it. But you have to understand that if you are in this business, this is a reality that more than hits you will have flops. It's part of your business. If you cannot take it, get out of it because you are in a wrong place."

Post 'Krrish 3', holiday with family on Vivek Oberoi's mind

For Deepika, chemistry lies in film's script, dialogues
For Deepika, chemistry lies in film's script, dialogues
Deepika Padukone's chemistry with Ranveer Singh in Ram-leela is much talked about thanks to its trailers, but she credits its script for this.
The actress says she has shared a great onscreen camaraderie with her other co-stars as well, and that's why she believes that the chemistry lies in the script.
"I have had great chemistry with three other people as well. I have had it with Ranbir (Kapoor), Saif (Ali Khan) and Shah Rukh (Khan). I think that's really a classic example of 'chemistry lies in the script'. It lies in the dialogues, it lies in the way the characters are written," the 27-year-old said.
She also says "a large part" of the chemistry is to do with "your comfort level with your co-star".
"But the fact that I have had great chemistry with three to four people, (I guess) a lot of it is in the script," she added.
Deepika has already delivered two superhits this year - Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani with Ranbir Kapoor and Chennai Express with Shah Rukh Khan, both making it to the Rs.100 crore club.
She shared screen space with Saif Ali Khan in Cocktail in 2012.
Deepika hopes that Ram-leela and her films in the New Year prove to be equally special.
"I hope 2014 is as special for me as 2013 was. In the beginning of the year the only thing I knew was I am going to have four releases. I didn't know how each of them is going to do. Each film was so different from the other.
"It also tested me in terms of the amount of work I was doing because there was a time when I was shooting Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, Chennai Express and Ram-leela at the same time.
"But looking at the results of Chennai Express and Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, I can't complain. It was worth every minute of being on those film sets. I just hope with Ram-leelaand the other films that I am doing, it is going to be equally special," she added.
Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Ram-leela is slated to release on November 15, 2013.
Kareena Kapoor Khan refuses to kiss on screen with her co-stars after marriage
Kareena Kapoor Khan refuses to kiss on screen with her co-stars after marriage!
The actor has been repeatedly saying no to locking lips with her co-stars. Kareena Kapoor Khan has always been a thorough professional. She has done intimate scenes with Ajay Devgn in Vishal Bhardwaj’s Omkara and Arjun Rampal in Madhur Bhandarkar’s Heroine, sported a bikini in Tashan, kissed ex-flame Shahid Kapoor in Jab We Met and Aamir Khan in 3 Idiots. But lately, the actor has been restricting herself from kissing her co-stars.
Earlier the Heroine refused to kiss Emraan Hashmi in Karan Johar and Ekta Kapoor’s production Badtameez Dil, and now we hear that Kareena had said no to kissing Ajay in the Ras se bhare tore nain song in Prakash Jha’s Satyagraha. Apparently, the filmmaker wanted Kareena just to brush on Ajay’s lips since it was a passionate number, but the actor refused since she has decided she won’t lock lips with anyone post marriage. At the end, Jha had to make do without it.
Now we finally know the real reason behind the thanda looking passionate number in Satyagraha.

Katrina Kaif Voted Again as 2013 Most Sexiest Bollywood Actor!
Katrina Kaif Voted Again as the Sexiest Bollywood Actor of 2013!
The Chikni Chameli babe has been voted as 2013’s Sexiest Woman by FHM India magazine. She has topped the list yest again for the fourth time if we’re not wrong showing how much of a fave she is for Bollywood audiences.
Looking at the Dhoom:3 teaser, she’s definitely a hottie and we cannot seem to take our eyes off her. But does she have no competition from the newer, younger heroines in terms of sex appeal? Voting her as the sexiest woman over and over again ahead of heroines like Deepika Padukone, Anushka Sharma and Priyanka Chopra seems a bit too much!

Well, at a recent press meet, Shahrukh replied to Salman’s invite. He said that he will definitely promote his movie on the reality show. The only problem is that the Dabangg dude will have to wait for a year to host the Chennai Express actor, as SRK’s next, Happy New Year is still in the making. Shahrukh also said that there’s no cold war between Salman and him and people shouldn’t create one. Salman too had said that the only war between the Khans will be at the box office.
Hmmm… Looks like the two reigning Khans of Bollywood no longer share cold vibes. Now, we’ll patiently wait to watch the two Khans on a common platform. Hope they don’t make us wait for too long!
